Parks and Recreation

The Department of Public Works maintains several parks for the community's enjoyment. These parks include amenities such as playgrounds, sports fields, canoe/kayak launches, a 9-hole disc golf course, pickleball courts, a skatepark, a small sledding hill, a dog park, fountains, and the Allegan Dam. Flower plantings and holiday decorations within the City parks, as well as the streets and sidewalks, are also maintained by the Department of Public Works.
