Downtown Development Authority

The City of Allegan Downtown Development Authority is a public body whose goal is to halt property value deterioration, eliminate the causes of that deterioration, increase property tax valuations within the City's Central Business District, and promote economic growth, pursuant to Act 197 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1975, as amended.

The board consists of 9 members who meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:00am at the Allegan City Hall Council Chambers, located at 231 Trowbridge Street. All meetings are open to the  public.
